Meeting#15 Victor Frankl - Logotherapy and Man's Search for Meaning

Leventcim hi again! I would like to uncover a very important topic which is definitely endless to discuss and which is worth to ponder on and think over and over all through our lives. I have no doubt that you can find many useful ideas in Frankl's studies. Please listen to the videos through and read anything you find about him and his work.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viktor_Frankl Here are some questions that we can discuss in our meeting.  1- What are your aspirations in your life? 2- Have you ever encountered any situations that resulted in sufferings? 3- If you have, then, what have you learnt out of those sufferings? 4- Have you ever experienced any moments that seemed impossible or miraculous to you?  5- If so, have you found meaning in them? How do you interpret those moments and situations? There will be a lot more to talk about on this topic. Let's leave the rest to the meeting. We will talk about your trip too. All the best, Aren

Assignment #19 Modal Verbs and Past Modals

Leventcim hi, I am sending you the following 2 videos about Modal Verbs which are actually part of more Advanced English. Even native speakers sometimes confuse how to use them properly. There are times that using many of these model verbs suits at the same time, but one can be slightly better than the others depending on context or the meaning that the speaker wants to give.  I feel obliged to dwell on this subject because I see your curiosity about it which is a very good thing for a learner. I recommend you to use what you learn here very often and despite having mistakes carry on trying as much as you can.  See you at 21:00 today. Best, Aren

Assignment #14 Present Simple vs Present Continuous AND Past Simple vs Present Perfect Tenses

Hello Leventcim! In order to benefit from the interactivity of our studying style, I start to focus on your technical mistakes and help you to improve your grammar and vocabulary knowledge.  Yesterday in your comments you wrote: Hi Aren , ı am trying to comments not , I have already download chrome and now it is working. The correct sentence should be: Hi Aren, I am trying to make comments. (Comment is a "plural noun" here) Or I am trying to comment. (Comment is a "verb" here) I have already downloaded chrome and now it works. ( Download is the 1st form and downloaded is the 3rd form, which you must use in present perfect tense. "Works" is the present simple form which is much better here instead of present continuous tense.)  I studied first 10 unit which is elementary of gramer in use on yesterday . ıt was very easy and elementary of vocabulary in use as weel , so ı will check only gramer in use hopefully ı will finish soon . I studied the first 10 unit...
