  1. Dear Levent,

We have decided to change our study system and resources. We move on to one level up.

1- You are going to study Cambridge's Grammar in Use for Intermediate Level

You have already tried Elementary Level, and it was very easy for you, besides you can review that book with Ebru, since she has been studying that one.

2- You are going to use Cambridge's Vocabulary in Use for Pre-Intermediate & Intermediate Level

Both of these books are Reference Books for Self Learners, so you can study them at your own pace and select the units as you need them. You do not need to study the units one by one in order from the beginning to the end.

3- We are going to study Face2Face for Pre-Intermediate Level /B1. While we study this coursebook of Cambridge, I will take the lead most of the time.

4- If we study on a regular basis, twice a week, (2 hrs X 2 days), and if you study everyday regularly, than we can set our goal to complete B1 Level and strenghten your fundamental knowledge and skills within the next six months.

5- Although Business English requires B1+ Level, we we are going to cover business topics as well, we will not stop and wait to complete B1. We will study both B1 General English and Business topics at the same time.

6- I have prepared a Table for your English Activities on Google Drive. Please start filling them as you study, you will easily get used to that. This will provide us with awareness and control over your development, so that you will be able to learn more strategically and selectively.

7- There is a number of easy and complicated topics ahead, such as Conjunction words, WH- questions and Linking words, using Articles, Tenses, Modals.

8- We are going to invest more time to Aural Skills, i.e. Listening and Speaking.

9- Your Daily English Activities on your job is very crucial for us. It gives us ideas to study, that's how we can assign priorities in your Grammar and Vocabulary topics. Please bring them to this blog, where we try to centralize all our studies.

That's it for now, see you on Thursday at 21:00
    Best,
    Aren
